new birds

I’ve been making new birds.

These guys are on a little field trip at the moment but later this week they’ll be in the shop.

Have you seen the movie Mirrormask? The expressions on your birds’ faces remind me of the monkey birds from that movie. Makes me love them all the more!

I love how each one is looking in a slightly different direction, like real birds pecking at the ground only pretty in a totally different way. Lovely.
